Does marriage create stress ?

Friends, this is a thought that comes to our mind very frequently. Some say enthusiastcally "No" while some might agree mentally, but wont spell it out. I have been married for little over a year now, to me marriage is a complex puzzle and when I see how women see marriage, this sometimes makes me feel that marriage itself is meaningless.

Well the point is, if there is chemistry in the relationship then its mostly expected that you might say no. Well the fact is, even in a successfull marriage with good understanding there is always an element of stress. But people tend to overlook it as the good parts of marriage takes more precedence and dominates all other factors.

While many of us show lots of enthusiasm and eagerness at the start of the relationship, however the same enthusiasm dies down very shortly as practical life catches on. Gone or the days when marriages where conducted to bring families together, today invariably marriages are meant to fragment families and separate out the son from his family.

I belong to a country where traditional ways of marriage are still practised and hailed as great cultural blessings. It hardly matters whether the marriage was based on cultural basis or on the basis of love. The key to a succes full marriage is compromise and sacrifice to meet practical situational demands & goals

See you soon
